OUR TEAM

Henry McLernon
Head of Events

With over 12 years in the events industry, Henry is a proven strategic, creative and innovative leader who has led a number of large-scale events across the globe in the sport, music, agri, food and lifestyle space.

A people-person at heart, Henry is a true connector. Always keen for a chat and a laugh, he leads the team with enthusiasm and humour but is also the first to jump on the tools and solve problems.

When he’s not on daddy duty for his beautiful daughter Freya, you’ll find him on his boat fishing, diving or cruising with friends (with a Lion Rouge in hand of course!)

Jonathan Paul
Events Manager

Jonathan (or JP) is a seasoned events professional who has worked in NZ and the UK. With a rural background, he effortlessly leads the operations and logistics for Central Districts Field Days, amongst other key events in our portfolio.

JP is a man of many talents including the ability to drive almost any vehicle, solve almost any problem and remain calm under pressure while doing it all - including being a new Dad!

Based in Palmerston North, Linda manages the exhibitor sales for Central Districts Field Days. With a background in events and sales, she’s well integrated in the exhibition space and prides herself on creating and maintaining relationships.

Her 3 sons keep her busy and she’s essentially got a part-time job as their chauffeur between sports practices & games! Linda also has a love of rock music so will sneak in a good concert when she can.

Christine brings years of experience and skill in exhibitor management and administration. She puts in an immense amount of work behind the scenes and 2024 will be her 18th CD Field Days! Come event day you’ll find her in HQ keeping the show running smoothly.

Christine’s superpower is being a safe pair of hands. She’s reliable, responsive and trustworthy and our exhibitors love her! In her spare time she’s always doing something active – whether that’s playing squash or cycling in the summer, or hitting the slopes in the winter.

Carol Ainger
Events Customer Care

Carol wears every hat imaginable. She heads up Customer Care, ensuring timely and effective responses. Carol also project manages a number of events and handles the reporting with her financially astute nature. With a passion for good wine and good food, Carol is also the team’s go-to for a restaurant recommendation!

George Hargood
Events Operations Coordinator

Hailing from the mighty Wairarapa, George brings a double-major in Marketing and Business to his role at Stuff Events. A natural fit for this rural-lad, George works on the operations of Central Districts Field Days and supports on a number of other events. When he’s not hiking mountains on the weekend, you’ll find him on the DJ decks. George’s superpower is his relentless positivity – he will always see the good and take on any task with a smile on his face.

Jacob Masters
Events Operations Coordinator

Jacob’s a big fan of events. So much so he decided to help organise them. He’s dead keen on efficiency, and loves ensuring events run seamlessly. He grew up across 3 continents and eyes a similar development for Stuff Events in the long term.

You might have also seen Jacob in the popular primetime rugby drama Head High, playing ‘high school bully #4’. If you did, good spot. You may also spot him on an E-bike or at home composting. Sustainability is a pretty big deal to him. Apparently.

Victoria Tamarua-Turoa
Marketing Coordinator

Ngāti Whātua, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Tamaterā, Kūki ‘Āirani

Victoria creates engaging content for all event brands and supports across all marketing activity. She has a background in customer experience and had a small business making and selling jewellery.

Victoria has two superpowers: curiosity and creativity. A lifelong learner, she’s always researching new trends and tools and looking for ways to do better. On the weekends she loves walking her dogs with her twin sister in Titirangi and spending time behind the pottery wheel.

Hayley McLarin
PR Specialist

Hayley has been the Stuff Events team’s PR guru for the past four years – working across the event portfolio. After decades in journalism both here and in the UK, Hayley moved into promoting brands nearly 10 years ago, and likes to have fun getting the job done.

While we would say her superpower is her way with words, Hayley reckons it’s her ability to make wine disappear.
